Illinois repeals death penalty!

Thank you Governor Quinn!

Illinois has repealed the death penalty becoming the 16th state in the nation (plus the District of Columbia) without a death penalty!
Please help us thank the one man who had the courage and fortitude to make it a reality. Without his leadership and vision, Illinois could not have taken this monumental step.
Please help us commend Governor Pat Quinn for his heroic actions by sending a personalized note below.  He needs to hear from those of us who know that the death penalty is a dysfunctional, costly, ineffective system.
